This 1967 guide by Ira T. Lerner is a unique gem. American Jews get TOO much attention on the global stage, but Judaism ALSO has a rich and beautiful history in Mexico.

This book does a wonderful job of capturing both Jewish life in Mexico (including different Jewish communities in the country, Jewish Schools and leaders, etc), in addition to a general snapshot of the country during this time. My only criticism is the book is written as a guide, and can seem a little voyeuristic if that makes sense.

Softcover, nice illustrations and photographs, small book, good condition.
